Krista opened Salon 10N in 2018, which she named after her first Jersey City apartment. She graduated from F.I.T and worked in design before deciding to pursue a career as a hairstylist. She’s a Sassoon trained stylist that loves precision hair cutting. On her time off, she enjoys baking, traveling to London and spending time with her dog, Snoop.

Our services are based on time and we charge by the hour. If you’re unsure how long your service will take, pop in for a consultation and we’ll give you a quote. If we go over that quote, the extra time is on us!

Free consultations
We love seeing photos and inspiration of your desired look. Consultations are 15 minutes and are complimentary. We now offer consultations via FaceTime or in-person at the salon.
Haircuts
1 Hour +
All haircuts are booked for 1 hour or more. Our haircuts are priced by the hour and are not based on age or gender. Everyone is equal here. All haircuts include a wash and blowout.
Single Process : Root Only
1 Hour +
Permanent or Semi-Permanent hair color that is applied to the root/regrowth only.
Single Process : Root to Ends
1.5 Hours +
Permanent or Semi-Permanent hair color that is applied on all over from roots to ends.
Face Frame Highlights
1.5 Hours +
Highlights place around the hairline only. This can be done with foils or balayage.
Partial Highlight
2 Hours +
Highlights placed around the hairline and crown of the head. This can be done with foils or balayage.
Full Highlight
3 Hours +
Highlights placed all over from the top of your head to the nape of your neck. This can be done with foils or balayage.
Double Process
A lightening service that is applied to the whole head of hair. Similar to a single process, but different in that lightener is applied to the hair and then color is deposited back in. This service is great for platinum blondes.
Root Shadow
A coloring service in which a darker shade is applied to the roots and is blended down to give a soft, seamless contrast.
Glaze
A toning service using ammonia free color that is applied to wet hair. Usually done after a single process or highlighting service but can also be done on its own.

House Rules
Salon 10N is a place for pampering. We know you have plenty of options in Jersey City, so we are committed to ensuring that you and fellow guests always have an exceptional one-of-a-kind experience. Please see below for a couple of rules we ask you kindly follow.
Word of mouth is one of the best ways to spread the love. If you love your hair, tell us, tell your friends, tell the world. We love knowing you’re happy with your hair, and it helps us if everyone else knows too. Writing a review on Facebook or Google is a great way to share your experience with others. Plus, your stylist will be delighted, which is always a good thing.
We totally get it. As hairstylists and service industry professionals, we’ve heard it all. So we kindly ask that cancellations be made 48 hours in advance. Any appointment cancelled less than 48 hours in advance will be charged 100% of the scheduled service fee. Late arrivals that can no longer be accommodated and no-shows will also be charged this fee. Reason being it’s not easy to fill large blocks of time in less than a day. Plus, we do what we can to protect our stylists livelihood by strictly enforcing these policies. We work on commission, which means we rely on you showing up and receiving the services you booked. We know you get it and appreciate your consideration in advance.
Let’s face it, a salon is a dangerous place for kids. We work with very sharp scissors, extremely hot irons, and not to mention different types of chemicals. We care about the safety and well-being of your child as much as you do when they are in the salon. Therefore, we kindly ask that any child brought to Salon 10N, must be accompanied by an adult not receiving a service. This helps ensure the safety of your child, so you don’t have to. We want all our guests to be able to kick back and relax.
